We are ACTIVELY monitoring the weather conditions! Please be weather aware. Make sure you have a weather radio or an app that will notify you of any Warnings for our area! We will continue monitor until we are no longer under any active threat.

Cross County including the City Of Wynne are under a BURN BAN until further notice effective immediately. The Wynne Fire Department has responded to multiple grass fires over the last 7 days. The low humidity and wind have contributed to several of these fires getting out of control. The following types of burning are allowed: Gas Grills/Fire Pits and Charcoal Grills with a lid. Within the City of Wynne any open burning will be in violation of Ordinace 890 and can result in a fine. Please do not burn. Thank You.

🚨 Weather Update from the Wynne Fire Department 🚨

The Wynne Fire Department is currently monitoring weather conditions as a severe weather threat moves across Eastern Arkansas this afternoon. Our personnel are staying alert and ready to respond if needed.

We encourage everyone to remain weather aware throughout the afternoon and evening. Please monitor local forecasts, have multiple ways to receive weather warnings, and review your severe weather safety plans.

If conditions worsen, we will provide updates here as needed. We will only sound the Early Warning Tornado Sirens if we are under a Tornado WARNING for the City of Wynne. If you hear the Tornado Sirens, please take cover in your safe place.
