Cooper Junior High is turning 20, and we’re celebrating ALL YEAR LONG! 🥳. Every 20th day of the month, we’re finding another reason to celebrate 20 years of Cooper pride, memories, friendships, learning, and success!

From cupcakes and decorations to special moments with our Cooper family, we’re making this anniversary one to remember! 20 years. Countless memories. One amazing Cooper family. 🎉

🏡❤️ Welcome Home, Cooper Family! ❤️🏡

Today we officially welcomed our amazing teachers back home to Cooper, and what a great way to kick off a new school year! ☀️🪑

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible Cooper Junior High PTA for treating our staff to a delicious breakfast 🍳🥐☕ and for the thoughtful, encouraging message that helped set the tone for an amazing year ahead. Your support means so much, and we are grateful for the way you continually pour into our staff! ❤️

From backyard games, to lawn chairs 😎 and plenty of laughs 😂, today’s laid-back, backyard atmosphere reminded us that home is where people feel welcomed, supported, and valued.

Our teachers also spent time preparing classrooms that will soon become a second home for our students—a place where every child feels safe, included, challenged, and loved. 🏫💙📚

We can’t wait to fill these halls with smiling faces next week as we begin another incredible year of learning, growth, and memories together.

Here’s to a year of building relationships, setting the standard, and making everyone feel like they belong.

📣 Pirate Pride on Full Display! 📣

Our Cooper Cheer Team took the floor for their Show-Offs, competing alongside the other three junior high campuses—and they absolutely represented Cooper with pride! ❤️🖤

Their hard work, energy, and enthusiasm were on full display as they continue preparing for an exciting season ahead. Every stunt, chant, and smile reflected the dedication they’ve put in throughout the summer.

👏 Thank you to our amazing cheerleaders for setting the standard and showing what it means to be a Pirate. Thank you to our amazing new coach, Coach Bailey, for all you’ve done and will continue to do to elevate these Cheerleaders to the best of their ability. We can’t wait to cheer you on all season long!

This week, our Guiding Coalition rolled up their sleeves and got to work helping us Set the Standard for an amazing school year! 💪📚

As the voice of our teachers, this outstanding team engaged in meaningful conversations around our instructional priorities, provided valuable feedback, and helped shape the structures and systems that will support both our staff and students all year long. 📝💡🤝

Great schools aren’t built by one person—they’re built by teams committed to listening, collaborating, and always keeping students at the center of every decision. ❤️🏴‍☠️

What an incredible evening of talent, energy, and school spirit alongside the Pearls, Dazzlers, and Sweethearts! 💎🌟❤️

We are so proud of these amazing dancers for their hard work, confidence, and the way they represented Cooper with pride. We are also so proud of their sponsors, who ensured they were ready for these performances with early morning practices, and hard work and dedication throughout.
