What a fun and busy week of learning! 📚💙

Our third graders worked hard through learning stations, practiced their thinking with a fun paper snowball fight to find their SCR prompt questions, and worked with partners to create our plot element charts while learning how all the parts of a story come together. ❄️📖

And we ended the week with something extra special—our first-ever School Houses Lunch! 💜💙❤️🖤🩵💚🏠🍎

Today, Nukumori gets to raise the House flag for the very first time!

A new tradition begins at Bush Elementary, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch our Houses build their identity, their pride, and their sense of belonging.

This is more than a flag—it’s a symbol of House pride, teamwork, and finding our way HOME. 💜 ❤️ 💜

This week, our 4th graders put their reading skills into action! 📚✨ Students applied their understanding of plot by analyzing a fictional story and identifying key story elements, including the exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution.

We love seeing our students take what they’ve learned and apply it in meaningful ways! 💙
