Rotary International Announces 2026-27 Theme: CREATE LASTING IMPACT

The vision for the upcoming Rotary year (July 2026 – June 2027) is clear: it’s time to Create Lasting Impact. To kick off this mission, our club is hosting a PEACE SUMMIT on September 14. Don’t wait—reserve your seat today and discover how we can unite to make peace a sustainable reality.

Inside the Theme:

The Visionary: Introduced by RI President-elect Olayinka Hakeem Babalola at the January 2026 International Assembly.

The Mission: Moving beyond temporary fixes, this theme challenges "People of Action" to prioritize sustainable, long-term results through deep community connection.

The Personal Connection: President-elect Babalola believes that global change begins within; to impact the world, we must first embrace our own personal transformation.

A vision of peacemaking.
We will be known as peacemakers by our willingness to listen with the intent to understand; for our ability to create space for face-to-face conversations, rising above the noise of algorithm-driven division, and by seeking to inspire meaningful engagement and valuing respectful discourse.

Join us for an inaugural Peace Summit. Registration for the September 14th event is now open. ⏰️ https://share.google/NQNF80u33FRgjkWJe

We see that America has reached a level of polarization that makes respectful discourse almost impossible. We hear more and more “us vs. them” rhetoric, but the truth is, we are not so far apart. To challenge this polarization, we are committed to educating, engaging, and encouraging our local communities to expect differently. (Beyond Conflict, 2020)

We’d like to invite you to a skill-building, face-to-face Peace Summit where keynote speakers will guide us on how to rise above the noise of algorithm-driven division so we can engage in meaningful and respectful discourse.

This flagship event will not only strengthen the bonds of our community but also reflect an enduring commitment to peace, collaboration, and service as we work to build a connected and harmonious future.
