Our department is deeply mourning the loss of long time firefighter, Rodney Redigar.

Rodney dedicated 38 years to serving the community of Buda, and his service will be greatly missed.

With the help of Ecky's Tap, we had a great turnout for our first ever TIPS FOR A CAUSE. Today we were able to deliver the $750 dollar check to Pink Heals Sauk Valley, IL Chapter. Thank you all so much for attending and donating.

On behalf of the Wyanet Fire Protection District we would like to thank each and everyone of you for stopping in today for breakfast! It means so much to see all the support from the community and the neighboring communities. Without all of your support we wouldn't be able to do what we do. All the tips that were given tonight will be donated straight to them. Huge thank you to Rossy's BBQ Joint for donating food as well. And thank you, Sue at Eckys, for donating half the proceeds from the bar sales to us as well.
