Join the Wyandotte Rotary Club for a Peace Walk Together on the Gordie Howe International Bridge on Saturday, September 26!

This walk is open to everyone! You do not need to be a Rotary member to participate. We’ll join our Canadian neighbors by walking from each side of the bridge and meeting in the middle for photos, fellowship, and a shared message of peace.

Meet at Historic Fort Wayne at 10:30 a.m. The walk begins at 11:00 a.m. Participants must bring a passport, passport card, Enhanced Driver’s License, or NEXUS card. A REAL ID alone will not be accepted.

Rain date: Sunday, October 4. We would love to have you walk with us! 🇺🇸🇨🇦

How do we even begin to put tonight into words?

Our first-ever Rise & Revitalize Rooftop Grants & Growth Summit was everything we hoped it would be and so much more. The weather was perfect, the rooftop was filled with incredible people, and every piece simply fell into place.

We heard inspiring updates about the growth happening Downriver, celebrated the people helping move our community forward, and listened as our grant recipients shared just how meaningful this support will be.

If you weren’t there, you truly missed something special. Tonight was a reminder of exactly why the Wyandotte Rotary does what we do, and what can happen when a community comes together.

The work we do here in Wyandotte matters deeply, but being part of Rotary also connects us to something much bigger.

Since Rotary became a founding partner of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative in 1988, polio cases worldwide have declined by 99.9%. Rotary and its partners have helped immunize more than 3 billion children across 122 countries, and today, wild polio remains endemic in only two countries.

That is the greater purpose of Rotary: local people taking action in their own communities while joining together to create lasting change around the world. We’ve come too far to stop now. 💙💛

Please note….they are collecting monetary and canned good donations to be able to continue to offer these great community events.

The Riverview Rotary and the City of Riverview invite you to our Community Shred Day this Friday, September 11!

Bring your unwanted personal documents and papers to be securely shredded at no cost. While there is no charge, we encourage everyone to bring non-perishable food items to help stock a local food bank.

Don’t have anything to shred? That’s perfectly fine—please stop by and drop off a food donation anyway!

The Riverview Rotary will certainly appreciate your generosity, and so will the local individuals and families who receive the food. Together, we can protect your personal information while helping feed our neighbors in need.
