As the National Friends of Libraries comes to a close in 2026, we want to say a big THANKS again to Marcia for being a wonderful Friend of the Year. Guess who went back to work in the book sale room after her party?

Remember: our Open Mic and our Local Writers Group Halloween Show is combined this year! It's spooky, but don't be too scared to register to perform or to be in the audience. Thursday, October, 29 5PM to 7PM. It's frightening how you might think there's time, but it creeps up on you. So register, celebrate, and be our local talent! "Reading is fur-ocious!" said, Max. "Litter-ally!" Millie agreed. (We can only guess their thoughts. But, we're pretty sure it's something similar.) We had our first Reading With Cats sessions. It went paws-atively well! Make sure to register for next month's sessions of 15 minute increments. Some of your library staff took a field trip as part of our staff training today. We visited the Story Trail on the D&H Canal Trail. Have you visited the Story Trail? Have you read & seen all 18 panels? Have you signed the visitor registration book?
