U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Station Long Level

U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Station Long Level U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Station Long Level is a Search and Rescue unit which operates seasonally on Lake Clarke.

USCG Auxiliary are Volunteers that assist the US Coast Guard with routine patrols and boating assistance. Our station is part of a Search and Rescue Detachment that patrols Lake Clarke north of Safe Harbor Dam.

Flotilla 19-04's Doug Willwerth, on the left, was formally presented the prestigious Coast Guard Auxiliary Medal of Operational Merit at our recent Division 053-19 meeting. This award recognizes outstanding service of an operational nature worthy of special recognition. In Auxiliarist Willwerth's case, the service was for a heroic lifesaving effort. Presenting the award was Division Commander Betsy Pittinger.
