Today, our community came together to honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Remembrance Walk and Ceremony as we marked the 25th anniversary of this solemn day.

As we reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and unity that emerged from tragedy, may we continue to carry those lessons forward and never forget. 🇺🇸

• You may request a paper copy or pick one up Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Parks & Recreation Office, behind Town Hall.

Join us at a public input meeting at Town Hall:
• October 20 at 6 p.m.

• October 26 at 5:30 p.m.

Join the Town of Wrightsville Beach as we commemorate the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001.

The morning will begin with a Remembrance Walk at 8:30 a.m. from the Wrightsville Beach Public Safety Building along Causeway Drive. The walk will conclude at Wynn Plaza, where a remembrance ceremony will begin at 9:00 a.m.

(If you do not wish to participate in the walk, please join us for the ceremony at 9:00 a.m. at Wynn Plaza.)

We invite the community to gather, reflect, and honor the lives lost, the heroes who responded, and the resilience of our nation.

In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in Town Council Chambers.
