Also known as the Urban Klister Post, it is named in honor of 2nd Lt. Klister, a B-17 bombardier from Wrightstown. He was killed in action on Oct. 14, 1943, during the "Black Thursday" mission over Schweinfurt, Germany. Of the 291 B-17s sent on that mission, 60 did not return.
