The 87th Logistics Readiness Squadron lead a spill response exercise 😎

Teams responded to a simulated hurricane, power outage, fuel leak and contaminated waterways. Using the tools at their disposal, teams identified the emerging issues and responded quickly and effectively!

When the unexpected happens, is ready to tackle the crisis 💪

On June 5th 2026, the 87th Logistics Readiness Squadron honored a significant milestone as we celebrated our Change of Command ceremony.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our outgoing commander Lt Col Ryan M. Hengel for his dedicated leadership, unwavering commitment, and lasting impact on the Airmen and mission of the 87 LRS. Your service has strengthened our squadron, and we wish you continued success in your next assignment.

We are excited to welcome our incoming commander Lt Col Kelly I. Myers and look forward to the leadership, vision, and opportunities that lie ahead. Together, we remain committed to delivering world-class logistics support and accomplishing the mission with excellence.
