Capt. Logan Sisca, 89th Airlift Squadron pilot, visited with students at North Canton City Schools, where he attended school in his childhood, to talk with them about his path to the Air Force Reserve. We love to be out in our communities letting them know there are many opportunities and paths to the Air Force.

As part of the September Wright-Patt Day C-17 tours, we hosted Foreign Liaison Officers from 10 countries. Military officers who work alongside the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Air Force Security Assistance and Cooperation Directorate took part in the tour where they learned about the C-17, Air Force Reserve and 445th Airlift Wing missions to understand how the wing enhances both national and global security. Happy birthday Air Force! We’re proud to be a part of the legacy!

This morning, we take a moment of silence to remember the events of Sept. 11, 2001, and the ties that bind the 445th Airlift Wing to this day forever through Maj. LeRoy Homer Jr. and Master Sgt. Jason Thomas. The 445th Airlift Wing was also among one of the first few wings that had units answer the urgent post-9/11 calls for medical readiness and mobilization. Today, as then, we stand ready & never forget!
