👮Ready for a new era of warfighting - the 78th Security Forces Squadron at Robins Air Force Base is transforming training to fully embrace the Agile Combat Employment (ACE) concept, preparing Airmen to secure austere, forward-deployed environments as smaller, highly adaptable teams.

Through a rigorous 215-hour training curriculum, these Defenders are developing critical skills in tactical communication, small-unit tactics, and independent decision-making under intense pressure. Beyond their own squadron, they are building vital partnerships by training alongside local base emergency services, civil engineers, medical personnel, explosive ordnance disposal units, and even the local Houston County SWAT team.

These realistic exercises ensure that during any emergency, domestic or deployed, everyone is ready to operate as a single, coordinated team.

✈️Reverse engineering for the win!➡️ The 809th Maintenance Support Squadron’s RAPID Labs and the 309th Aviation Maintenance Group at Hill Air Force Base have successfully joined forces to advance support for the F-35 program.

Maintainers disassembled an original F-35 canopy frame to prepare it for high-precision scanning. Utilizing this scanned data, RAPID Labs reverse-engineered and produced additively manufactured F-35 canopy frames.

These 3D-printed canopy frames will be used for training purposes, saving vital resources. This collaborative success accelerates delivery timelines and lowers costs across the F-35 Enterprise, showing how advanced manufacturing is modernizing support for our warfighters.

As we close out Mental Health Awareness month, we are reminded of the importance of asking for help and that readiness requires all parts of one's being - physical, mental, emotional, and more, to be resilient.

Resources are available to support Airmen, Guardians and civilians where ever they are in their life journey.

Read about how Air Force Test Center civilian Joseph Carrillo kept "moving forward" as he faced challenges in his own life.

Ready...aim...🔫

More than 200 service members based at Hill Air Force Base gathered to test their marksmanship and compete for the Excellence in Competition (EIC) badge during National Police Week! 🎯

Putting their skills to the test with the M4 Carbine and the M18 Modular Handgun System, 207 active-duty, Guard, and Reserve personnel aimed for the “Top Shot” title. The EIC program is designed to foster a competitive spirit while heavily enhancing combat readiness and lethality across the force.

Earning an EIC badge is a significant milestone reserved for only the top 10 percent of all competing shooters, who are then authorized to wear the badge on their dress uniforms. This year, 20 outstanding competitors earned medals.

Competitions like this emphasize that readiness is a daily expectation rather than just a theory. It provides a unique opportunity for members to step outside of their routine duties, showcase their incredible technical skills, and prove that their expertise extends far beyond their day-to-day mission.

Congratulations to all the competitors who demonstrated what it means to maintain a high standard of readiness!

🙌AFMC's Maj. Gen. Mark Slominski spent some time with our amazing at Hanscom Air Force Base last week where he received mission updates, viewed ongoing readiness activities and recognized outstanding performers at the installation.

Visits like these provide leadership an opportunity to engage with our Airmen and to see our hard work in action.

Thanks for hosting, Hanscom team!

🧩Imagine trying to build a complex puzzle, but the pieces are not all there, and some might need a bit of tweaking to fit. For a long time, legacy logistics and pre-positioned equipment could seem a bit like that. Now, to ensure our Airmen are always ready to deter threats and project power, we are completely transforming the system! 🌍✈️

AFMC is leading a massive effort to shift theater setting from isolated stockpiling to dynamic, ready-to-fight "Integrated Capability Packages." This means Airmen will have fully stocked, mission-ready toolkits delivered exactly where and when they are needed.

By managing these complete packages from start to finish—and advocating for enterprise-level funding—we are ensuring our warfighters have the specific infrastructure, protection, and working supplies they require to succeed in highly contested environments. This data-driven, modernized approach means our forces can transition seamlessly from everyday operations to combat readiness at a moment's notice.

The Next Generation of maintainers is here, and they are bringing their absolute best to the flight line! ✈️🔧

A massive congratulations to the 96th Maintenance Squadron for securing a hard-earned victory in the bomb building portion of the inaugural Sortie Generation Competition! This new event brought together the incredible maintainers from both the 96th Test Wing and the 33rd Fighter Wing at Eglin Air Force Base to battle it out in bomb building, dedicated crew chief, and weapons loading events.

The primary goal of this competition is to test the knowledge, proficiency, and speed of our Airmen, all while building critical teamwork and esprit de corps across the participating wings.

By challenging our maintainers in these high-pressure, realistic scenarios, we ensure our forces are fully prepared to sustain air superiority and meet the rigorous demands of any future challenge.

✈️We are rapidly upgrading our F-15E fleet! The new EPAWSS speedline at the Warner-Robins Air Logistics Complex, part of our Air Force Sustainment Center, aims to accelerate modernization efforts for the Strike Eagle.

The Eagle Passive Active Warning Survivability System (EPAWSS) is a highly advanced electronic warfare suite that provides our aircraft with digital radar warning, geolocation, and powerful jamming capabilities. Integrating this cutting-edge technology directly translates to increased lethality, allowing our aircrews to safely pe*****te and strike within heavily contested airspace.

Executing these upgrades through a dedicated speedline ensures maximum fleet readiness, keeping our aircraft prepared to dominate in any future conflict.

Memorial Day, originally known as Decoration Day following the Civil War, is a solemn reminder of the ultimate sacrifices made by our military members.

Established in 1868 by General John A. Logan, this day honors those who laid down their lives in service to the United States.

As we reflect on this history, we remember the cost of the freedom we defend today and the resilience of those who serve.

When every second counts, our Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Airmen are ready! 💣

Recently, 95 EOD technicians from five major commands converged at Eglin Air Force Base for a rigorous, two-week warfighter training exercise. Navigating everything from hidden weapon caches in dark culverts to complex aircraft weapon malfunctions, these Airmen faced combat-realistic scenarios designed to test their tactical skills and medical readiness in high-pressure environments.

By prioritizing hands-on repetitions with live hazards, drone disposal, and small unit tactics, our EOD teams are ensuring they maintain the operational lethality and strict safety standards needed to secure areas for the Joint Force globally. This vital, large-scale training guarantees that when our forces encounter explosive threats downrange, our experts are fully prepared to safely clear the way and even provide critical medical aid in hot zones if necessary.
