R.I.P. brother prayers for his family and his friends and fellow brothers and sisters in blue.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Officer Zane Mann following an off-duty motorcycle accident.

Zane was a valued member of our department and community, and his loss is heartbreaking to everyone who knew him. During this difficult time, we ask that you keep his family, friends, and fellow officers in your thoughts and prayers.

Please join us in remembering Zane and offering comfort and support to those grieving this tremendous loss.

Rest in peace, Officer Mann. 💙

The Wright City Police Department invites applications for Reserve Officers to join our team, serving evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. If you're passionate about serving and protecting our community, we encourage you to apply. As a small department, we pride ourselves on building strong relationships and making a meaningful impact. Minimum Qualifications:
* U.S. Citizenship
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Valid Driver’s License
* C.L.E.E.T. Certification (preferred)
* Minimum age 21
* Pass MMPI (if not previously completed)
* No felony convictions, protective orders, or domestic violence incidents
* No DUI/DWI convictions within the last 5 years
* Ability to work in a small town environment
* Pass drug test and background investigation
* Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
* Non-certified applicants must pass a posse test

Even though some roads are a little clear and some has melted, tonight it will freeze back up so please be careful if out tonight. A lot are tired of being cooped up but just remember you can always go to another room to try and escape the kids! Jk be safe

Please be careful while you traveling or going to the store. The roads in Wright city are still iced over and are still dangerous traffic conditions. Please do not go to businesses and start to do donuts in their parking lot.  if you do not need to get out in this weather, please stay home the Wright city police department is taking emergency calls at this time. We will be out patrolling
