Here’s a mental health tip from a therapist! Did you know visualization can help reduce stress by 30%? One of my favorite simple practices is pairing it with something you already do — like your daily shower.
Mindful Tip: As you shower, visualize all the stress, tension, and worries you’re carrying flowing down the drain. Imagine each drop of water taking away what no longer serves you.
This technique is called pairing — linking a new, helpful habit to something you already do — which makes it easier to stick with practices that support your mental health. Even a one-minute visualization can calm your nervous system, help you feel lighter, and give you a reset for the day.
