As I wrap up my time with Wrenshall Community Education, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to our amazing staff, teachers, colleagues, mentors and community partners I’ve had the privilege to work alongside these two years. You truly made these years so memorable.

I’ll be sharing photos from all the fun we had in November and December—Environmental Club, Imagination Club, Christmas time with Mrs. George, and so many other special activities. We had an absolute blast, and I’m so grateful for every moment.

Thank you for allowing me to serve this incredible community over the past two years. While my role is changing, my family and I are still here—proud to be part of Wrenshall and cheering this program on in its next chapter. 💙

The Wrens Club staff had a half-day training yesterday, where our team refreshed and strengthened our skills in CPR, First Aid, and AED use. ❤️‍🩹

We’re committed to keeping our kids, families, and community safe, and ongoing training like this helps ensure we’re prepared for any situation.

A big thank-you to everyone who participated and to our trainer for making the session hands-on, informative, and engaging! 👏

October was another busy and exciting month in Community Education! 🍁
Thank you to everyone who participated — we love seeing our community learn, grow, and have fun together! And thank you to all the instructors who we partnered with this last month.
Here’s a peek at what happened last month:
✅ Pickleball Sundays
✅ ECFE with new & returning families
✅ Youth Leadership kickoff
✅ Yoga session to relax & recharge
✅ Environmental Club exploring nature & trees
✅ Pumpkin painting with preschool & school-age care 🎃
✅ LEGO Club launch — creativity in action!
✅ Half-Day Fun Day for preschool & elementary friends - thank you to the ESP’s for the healthy snacks.

And we’re not done yet! November is packed too — LEGO Club, Imagination Club, ECFE, Environmental Club, and CEAC continue on. 💪

Kickoff meeting complete for our first Student Leadership & Service Learning projects! 🙌 Our students had great discussions about the issues that matter most to them, and I can’t wait to see how their projects develop over the next month. So proud of their ideas and teamwork already! 💡💪

Are you (or someone you know) between the ages of 10-18 and ready to grow, lead, and make an impact?

We're excited to launch our Leadership Program running October through December — a unique opportunity for students to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and work on meaningful projects either individually or as part of a group!

💡 Whether you're new to leadership or already involved, this program is for YOU. I would love to see students take advantage of this opportunity and walk away feeling proud, empowered, and inspired.

What a busy September we had! 🎉
After school enrichment, adult enrichment, and ECFE all kicked off — it’s been a great start to the year!

A huge thank you to:
🙌 Kris Anderson for wrapping up After School Active Adventure Club
🥾 Suzy Berger for leading the one-time Hiking Club
🌿 Betsy Dugan for starting the Environmental Club (2 more sessions to go!)
🧘 Anne Saari for her teaching yoga class - a true all body workout and relaxation

We also launched this years Community Education Advisory Council (CEAC) and are excited for Leadership & Service Learning coming in October. Plus, pickleball just started here at Wrenshall! 🏓

Phew… Wrenshall Community Education has been busy!
