PRIMARY NOTICE OF ELECTION
June 30, 2026
TO THE ELECTORS OF YUMA COUNTY:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Tuesday the 30th day of June a Primary Election will be held in Yuma County as an all-mail ballot delivery election.
Ballots will be mailed to each active registered elector June 8- June 12, 2026, in accordance with C.R.S. Section 1-7.5-107(3)(a)(I).
DEMOCRATIC, REPUBLICAN, UNITY AND LIBERTARIAN VOTERS: Your ballot packet will contain the Primary Election candidates for your party.
UNAFFILIATED VOTERS: Your ballot packet contains both Democratic and Republican ballots with the Primary Election candidates, mark and return ONLY ONE ballot and destroy the other. If you mark and return both ballots, neither will count.
SELF-AFFIRMATION: The self-affirmation on the Mail Ballot Envelope MUST BE SIGNED by the voter. Please use black or blue ink ONLY to mark your ballot. Additionally, on the voter label if there is an “ID” Symbol or “ID Required”, be sure to enclose a copy of your ID with your ballot. Your ballot will not count unless ID is provided if required.

• 24 Hour Drive-Up Drop Box Location Yuma County Election Center 130 E 3rd St. Wray, Co 80758(no postage required for drop box) (Dropbox is located on the north side of Election Center next to HWY 34) and Northeastern Junior College Satellite Building 910 S Main St. Yuma, Co, 80759 (South side of building, under awning) NO POSTAGE NECESSARY
• In person at the Clerk & Recorder’s Office. Office hours are M-F 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Yuma County Election Center 130 E 3rd St, Wray, Co, 80758; Monday June 22, 2026-Friday June 26 2026 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 27, 2026, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Election Day 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, the 30th day of June 2026.
• Via mail to the Yuma County Clerk & Recorder, 310 Ash St, Suite F, Wray, Co, 80758 (with proper postage) prior to June 22, 2026, all voted ballots must be received by the Clerk and Recorder no later than 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
• POSTMARKS DO NOT COUNT!
Election Services provided at Yuma County Clerk & Recorder’s Office & Yuma County Voter Service and Polling Center Locations are registering to vote; updating voter information; replacement ballots; return of mail-in ballots; cast a ballot either by paper or ADA ballot marking device; cast a provisional ballot.
UPDATES TO VOTER REGISTRATION: To check or change your voter registration, visit www.govotecolorado.gov or contact the Yuma County Clerk and Recorder’s Office at 970-332-5809. Note that Colorado is a same-day-registration state, which means voters can register or update their voter registration all the way through Election Day by 7:00 p.m.
TO MAIL A BALLOT TO THE VOTER: The deadline for the Clerk and Recorder to receive a mail-in ballot application if a voter is away from home is Monday, June 22, 2026. Last day for an individual to submit a voter registration application through the online voter registration system, the mail, voter registration agency, or local driver’s license examination facility and receive the ballot via mail is Monday, June 22, 2026.
REPLACEMENT BALLOTS: If you spoil, deface, or lose your ballot, you may obtain a replacement ballot by contacting the Yuma County Clerk and Recorder’s Office at 310 Ash Street, Suite F, Wray, CO, 80758 or call 970-332-5809.
