This Memorial Day we hope you gather with friends and family to remember those who gave everything in pursuit of liberty, in defense of democracy, and in preservation of our way of life.

We honor the greatest sacrifice a servicemember can make and stand united in memory of their bravery and service to our nation.

Older Americans Month is a time to celebrate the contributions and joy that our elders bring to our community and our lives. It's also a time to thank Service Coordinators for all they do to keep older Americans healthy, happy, and housed!

Championing the health of seniors is an essential part of the job - making sure they have access to exercise, fresh, nutritious food, and building a community they can thrive in are all important aspects of service coordination.

If you are looking for resources on how to serve your elderly residents, look no further than AASC's webinars, on-demand courses, and our JustAASC Community for innovative solutions and the best practices that will keep your residents healthy!

May is Older Americans Month - and this year's theme is "Champion Your Health!"

We know that even a small amount of daily activity can have long lasting impacts on the health of older folks - Service Coordinators can ensure an outlet for that activity by organizing a walking club, yoga, or working with community partners to create other meaningful opportunities.

What are you doing at your property to help seniors champion their health?

Champion Tip of the Week: Add movement to your routine. Just 15 minutes of daily activity — like walking, dancing, or yoga — can support strength, balance, and independence. How will you stay active this ?
