WORTHINGTON FALL CLEANUP kicks off with dumpsters available this Saturday and Sunday.

Fall Cleanup will take place September 19–25 in conjunction with regular trash collection.

Dumpsters will be available at the Wastewater Treatment Facility on Prospect Avenue daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Residents may dispose of larger items at no cost. A valid photo ID showing a City of Worthington address is required as proof of residency‼️‼️

🚫 The following items are NOT accepted:

• Hazardous waste
• Batteries
• Paint cans
• Tires

The Worthington Fire Department’s Halloween festivities will begin one hour before the citywide Trick-or-Treat, giving kids a chance to enjoy the fun before heading door-to-door! DOOR-TO-DOOR trick or treat is 6-8pm👻🎃

Happy Labor Day!

The City Building will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of the holiday.

During the closure, if an emergency need for service arises, Public Works assistance may be requested by calling the Greenup County Dispatch non-emergency number at (606) 473-1411.

Police Department services remain available by calling 911.

We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Labor Day!

Kentucky’s new school bus law is about one thing—protecting children. Pay attention, slow down, and never risk passing a stopped school bus.

A few extra seconds could save a life.
