Thank you Pappy for everything you taught many of us and the knowledge you shared from your experiences during your Fire & EMS career.
Much of the knowledge you shared remains with past and current members. Your legacy will carrying on by sharing with future generations of firefighter/paramedics.
Pappy dedicated more than 30 years of service where he began his career at the Sharon Township Fire Department in 1990. Jim retired from the Worthington Division of Fire (IAFF Local 3498) in 2013. Before joining Sharon Township, he served as firefighter and paramedic for Clinton Township and Perry Township Fire Departments.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Worthington (6999 N. High St., Worthington, Ohio)
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church (20 E. Dominion Blvd., Columbus, Ohio). Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery with full firefighter honors (9571 North High Street, State Route 23 North, Lewis Center, Ohio).
