Thank you to everyone who attended our 1st Annual Advocacy Seminar and Statehouse Day this past week! 💙

Together, our group met with 30 Statehouse offices in less than five hours — an incredible accomplishment and a powerful example of what advocacy in action can achieve. This impact was only possible because of the passion, dedication, and voices of everyone involved.

We are grateful to continue advocating for individuals with I/DD and building stronger connections with leaders across our state.

There are a lot of misconceptions when it comes to Assistive Technology.

Too expensive. Too complicated. Only for certain people.

But when you break it down, the reality looks very different.

Real-world skills, real impact.

Through our partnership with First Federal Lakewood Bank, individuals in our Transition Program at West Creek are building the tools they need for a strong, independent future. From mock interviews and resume building to learning the ins and outs of savings and checking accounts, each session is packed with practical, hands-on experience.

Opportunities like this go beyond the classroom - helping individuals grow their confidence, prepare for employment, and take meaningful steps toward long-term financial success.

We were honored to host our first inaugural Boundless Advocates Reception - an evening dedicated to celebrating advocacy, leadership, and the continued work toward building a world that recognizes the boundless potential of all people. 💙

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event so meaningful, and congratulations to Rep. Crystal Lett and Rep. Mike Odioso for being recognized for their efforts in reestablishing the Statehouse Disabilities Caucus and advocating for individuals with disabilities and their families.

The Access Ability JP Morgan & Chase team met for a day of service by supporting our students in our Stepping Forward program at our Worthington campus. They purchased items and assembled a mock apartment that allows our students to practice household chores in a real life environment. This apartment will help them develop the skills to live more independent lives.

We’re excited to continue our monthly series celebrating the incredible people who make Boundless what it is. Each month, we spotlight a member of our team and share the passion they bring to our mission of building a world that realizes the boundless potential of all people.

This month, we’re proud to feature Shonda Billingslea, a Program Supervisor at our West Creek Day Program.

Shonda has been with Boundless for more than 20 years, bringing deep experience and dedication to her role. One of her favorite parts of the job is the daily interactions with the people she serves, building meaningful connections and being part of their everyday growth and experiences.

What motivates Shonda most is growth, development, and contributing to making a difference. Her commitment to empowering others is reflected in the care and consistency she brings to her work each day.

Outside of work, Shonda enjoys watching game shows and relaxing in her recliner.
