TOWN OF WORTH
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Worth will hold a public hearing on April 9, 2026, at 5:45pm at the Town Barn located at 24600 County Route 189 to consider the adoption of Proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2026.
Title of Local Law: Prior Written Notice
Summary: A Local Law providing for written notification of defects and obstructions on town highways, bridges, roads and culverts in the Town of Worth.
Copies of the proposed local law are available for review at the Town Clerk’s Office by appointment. All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.

Lots of people have been asking about the total snow fall we received so far in Worth, NY, and yesterday I found an error on my snow total spread sheet formula so here is the correct updated number.
1/28/2025 233" , 1/28/2026 250 7/8" (1 1/8" shy of 21 FEET! )

I also wanted to note that Monday 1/19/26 to Monday 1/26/2026 we received 99" of snow. Yes 8 feet 3 inches of snow !
That is an average of 99" / 7 day = 14.14" per day

The Town Board will hold a Public Hearing at the Worth Town Barn on the 13th day of November at 5:45 P.M. At that hearing any person may be heard in favor of or against the budget to be adopted as compiled.
