Community Awareness:
The Worland Police Department has recently been investigating reports of alleged kidnapping attempts within the City of Worland.
Through the course of these investigations there has been no substantiated evidence that any crime(s) occurred. Residential security cameras were reviewed within the areas of where the alleged crimes occurred, and there simply wasn't any video evidence that supported the reported events, vehicles, or person(s) that were reported to be involved. All potential witnesses who were in the areas during the reported time frames denied seeing anything unusual, or anything else that supported the reported allegations.
There is no threat to the public and no other similar reports have been made to the Worland Police Department. We would like to thank our community members who allowed us to review their residential security camera footage, as well as all of the potential witnesses who were very helpful during the investigations.
