ππ Congratulations to the Burncoat High School Class of 2026!
Weβre proud to introduce Osiris Janette Del Cid Amezquita as this yearβs Valedictorian! π
The name Osiris means βpowerfulβ or βmighty,β and she has embodied that meaning throughout her high school journey. With quiet strength, determination, and grace, Osiris has met every challenge with focus, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
A scholar, athlete, leader, and mentor, Osiris has set a high standard for her peers while consistently lifting others up. Her accomplishments include National Honor Society, the Harvard Book Award, Seal of Biliteracy with Distinction, AP Scholar with Honors, QuestBridge Scholarship Finalist, leadership in Student Government and the Student Superintendent Advisory Council, and captaincy in Track & Field.
Beyond accolades, she leads through service β volunteering, mentoring, and giving back to her community with heart and purpose. Her impact is defined not by recognition, but by action.
This fall, Osiris will attend Boston College to study neuroscience, continuing her journey of excellence and purpose.
