THAT’S A WRAP! 🌙

Our summer Night Management program wrapped up in August, and what a season it was!

Over the course of 17 Night Management walks, WHA staff connected directly with residents, identified concerns and helped address issues across our properties.

By the Numbers:

🚶 17 Night Management walks
🏠 120 units visited
🔧 ~45 work orders generated

Department leaders from across WHA joined Public Safety and Property Management staff for at least one walk, giving them an opportunity to see our communities up close and hear directly from residents.

WHA CEO Alex Corrales recently joined the team at Great Brook Valley Gardens, where he spent time talking with residents and youth and even tossed a football with some of our younger residents! 🏈

Night Management is about more than walking our properties. It’s about showing up, listening, building relationships and taking action.

We’re already looking forward to the next round of walks. Until then, we hope all our residents had a fun, safe summer! 💙

F🍗 COOKING UP CONNECTION! 🥗

WHA’s Chicken Fajitas Cooking Group is serving up much more than a delicious meal!

Participants recently worked together to chop vegetables, season and cook chicken, prepare toppings and build their own fajitas while developing practical cooking skills, confidence and independence.

But the best ingredient? Connection. 🤝

The group creates a relaxed space for conversation, friendship and peer support while encouraging healthier food choices and everyday life skills.

🍽️ Learn.
💪 Build confidence.
🤝 Connect.
😊 Have fun.
🌮 Enjoy a great meal together!

🏗️ BUILDING A NEW LAKESIDE!

The transformation of Lakeside Apartments is taking shape, with Phases 1 and 2 under construction at the same time!

Phase 1 began with the demolition of 48 units and will replace the former apartments with 116 new homes, including 55 additional apartments.

🏡 Phase 2 brings an exciting new opportunity: homeownership. Ten condominium-style homes are being created for qualified buyers, and the application process is underway. We hope to see WHA residents among the future homeowners at The Overlook at Coes!

And there’s more to come. Phase 3 is next, and we’ll have some big news to share soon.

🎥 In the meantime, check out the video and photos for a look at the transformation underway.

WHA is building better futures, figuratively and literally.
