Today instructors from the New Pittsburg, Town and Country, and Wooster Township Fire Departments worked together to provide CPR/AED/Choking training to 40 students from Mrs. Melegari's 8th grade classes from Northwestern middle school. These are life saving skills that these kids can take with them, and hopefully if they would ever need them be able to help those having an emergency. Thank you to all the instructors, students, and Mrs. Melegari for allowing us to have this opportunity.

This week at Pittsburg Fire EMT monthly training, we put our skills to the test with a hands-on proficiency night. 🚑🔥

Five stations were set up covering:• Basic vital signs• Airway management• Cardiac care• Trauma response• Medication therapy

It was a great opportunity to sharpen our skills, stay prepared, and work together as a team. Always a fun and valuable night of training!

Along with every other department in the county here is the info on the fire last night that we assisted Apple Creek Fire on. It was a awesome demonstration of interoperability of fire departments that never worked with each other before coming together and assisting.

This past week, New Pittsburg Fire hosted our annual Appreciation & Awards Banquet.
