Thanks to all those who came out to run or support the runners/athletes last night as the Special Olympics Flame πŸ”₯ of Hope passed through Wooster on its way to Columbus for the opening ceremony to the state games on Friday!

The Flame of Hope will travel southbound on Burbank Road from the Safety Center at 5 p.m. to the Gazebo downtown. πŸš“πŸ”₯πŸƒβ€βž‘οΈ

Congrats to Kean Elementary Honorary Junior Police Officer for the month of May, Nolan Parker. Nolan's nomination read:
Nolan has been an amazing leader in our classroom all year. Nolan is such a hard-worker! He is so conscientious and responsible! He has been our banker and our technology monitor this year and has done an incredible job! Nolan has a passion for math that makes teaching him so much fun!
He is always willing to help others if they need help! It has been an absolute joy to teach Nolan this year! Keep up the amazing job, Nolan!
Also taking place today at Wooster City School District. The old Wooster General mascot was retired today and the NEW Wooster General mascot was revealed.
