A child support order typically ends when a child graduates and turns 18, but there are other situations when support may end earlier. These include when a child gets married, joins the military full time, or has a change in legal custody. 💍🎖️📄

We were proud to have several of our staff attend the Wayne County Children Services' Child Abuse Prevention Month Community Event. A heartfelt thank‑you to every professional, volunteer, and partner in our community who works tirelessly to protect children and strengthen families. Your dedication truly makes a difference.

Congratulations to the nominees for Local Law Enforcement Officer of the Year, and to Bobbi Douglas, the well‑deserving recipient of the Child Advocate Award—your commitment to serving children and families is inspiring.

We were also moved by keynote speaker, Maurice F. Martin, whose message on leading well reminded us of the power of empathy, courage, and purpose-driven work.
