On behalf of the entire Ida Sue School family, we want to share a massive thank you to our incredible principal!
Today, on National Principals Day, we are celebrating the leader who keeps our nest strong and our students soaring. Being a Bluebird means looking out for one another, and our principal does that every single day with heart, patience, and dedication. Whether she is navigating the busy hallways or cheering us on from the sidelines, her commitment to our success makes Ida Sue a wonderful place to learn and grow.Thank you for being our biggest champion and for helping every student find their wings. We are so lucky to have you leading our flock!

Our "Ocean" themed Right to Read Week at Ida Sue School reached a whole new level of excitement thanks to the Wooster Township Fire and Rescue.
A massive thank you to the crew for taking the time to visit our students today. You brought the ocean to us!

The students were absolutely thrilled to explore:
The Rescue Boat: Getting an up-close look at how our firefighters navigate the water.
Scuba Gear: Learning about the specialized equipment divers use to stay safe and save lives.

It was such a powerful experience for our students to see how the "ocean" theme connects to real-world heroes right here in our community. Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and for making this final day of Right to Read Week truly unforgettable!

We have officially reached the end of Right to Read Week at Ida Sue School, and we finished with a deep-sea dive into our "Ocean" theme!
It has been an incredible week of exploring new worlds through the pages of books, but today was extra special. Thanks to our amazing community partners, the learning doesn't have to stop at school!
Today we held our first ever Reading Under the Lights event with United Way Wayne and Holmes Counties.
We are thrilled to share that EVERY student at Ida Sue School went home today with 5 brand-new books to add to their personal libraries! Seeing the smiles on their faces as they chose their stories was the perfect way to wrap up the week .

Thank you for investing in our students and helping us foster a lifelong love of reading. Your support truly makes a difference in our classrooms and our community!
