Today's a beautiful day to come out to the Woodway Farmer's Market from 11-2. It back outdoors at the Carleen Bright Arboretum. We'll be there with two wonderful extra virgin olive oils. Aremi evoo, made from Nocellara del Belice olives in Gibellina, Sicily where my family is from and Bivona evoo, made from cerasuola olives on our land at Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily. We're back from three weeks in Sicily trimming our olive trees for the upcoming season. Come see as the Woodway Farmer's Market today from 11-2 at the Carleen Bright Arboretum! If you haven't been there before, it's a lovely spot for a farmer's market.

It is olive tree-trimming time for us in Sicily. The days are filled with hard work but it’s beautiful this time of year. In Sicily the fields turn green starting about the first of November and beautiful wildflowers grow throughout the winter. I think the area is as beautiful this time of year as it is in the summer tourist season. Soon the trees will get their tiny white flowers and this year’s olives will pop out not long afterwards. We are adding irrigation this year and hoping that will help production and reduce the volatility the droughts cause.

Sunday November 17 we're at Woodway Farmer's Market from 11-2. It's at the Carleen Bright Arboretum. We missed last month while we were harvesting olives in Sicily and we're excited to be back this month. Come on out and see us!
