I want to start off by saying congratulations to John Brown. We lost by 15 votes but we were heard and that’s what is important. I want to THANK all of you who voted and supported me. This new chapter of my life taught me a lot and I have a new found respect for campaigning. For those of you who think running for an elected office is easy, all I have to say is “Give it a go, it’ll test you”. Again thank you for the support and let’s all bond together and do what we need to do, to keep Woodward moving forward.

Hopefully everyone had a great Easter weekend and welcome to the start of another week.
Please don’t forget the voting polls are open 7am till 7pm tomorrow April the 7th and we have an important school bond to vote on as well the City Commissioner Ward 2 spot. Thank you to everyone for getting out and speaking up and supporting our community of Woodward.

EARLY voting starts this Thursday and runs through Friday at the Woodward county courthouse from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. They did say the side doors will be unlocked and they do have help for those who have trouble getting out of their vehicles to come inside to vote. They will have special parking and you can call inside and they will come out to you. This early voting is open to all registered voters living in the city limits of Woodward who would like to cast their vote early and not wait until Tuesday for any reason. Let’s all get out and exercise our right to vote.

I have been asked by several if I support the school bond, I want to publicly say “YES”. The quality of our schools is a reflection of the city of Woodward. Make sure and mark April 7th to vote on both School Bond and City Commissioner.
