🎉 Congratulations are in order for NWEC’s newest Director – Cale Steadman!

Following interviews of three qualified candidates, a majority vote of the NWEC Board of Directors today confirmed his position for the remainder of the term, ending in 2027.

We are certain he will be a passionate and dedicated Director for his fellow co-op members.

Election Details:

Our district three candidates were prepared for an election on May 19, but unfortunately, a minimum of 5% of the members in the district did not attend. Our bylaws dictate that if quorum is not met, then business cannot be conducted and the decision to fill the vacancy falls to the current board of directors. Our board chose to interview the three candidates today, and came to a majority decision in favor of Cale Steadman. All three candidates did a fantastic job, and the fact that they were willing to put themselves out there and represent their district speaks volumes. We look forward to seeing who will run during the regular district election to be held in early 2027.
