Spring into Summer was a tremendous success, and I want to extend my sincere appreciation to the community for taking the time to join us for such a fun and engaging event.
I would also like to thank the United Fire Woodville Station for partnering with us this year and hosting their open house, which allowed us to hold the event rain or shine. Thank you as well to the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office for bringing the Mobile Command Center, the MRAP, and for sending Deputy Smith and K 9 Ares. We also appreciate the participation of the State Patrol, the Wisconsin DNR, Baldwin EMS, and the St. Croix County Posse.
A special thank you goes to Day and Night for bringing the heavy wrecker, to Albrightson’s for providing a dump truck, and to Public Works for bringing the front loader. We are also grateful to the Lions Club for handling all of the food.
Additional thanks to Half Shebang for providing music, Keep on Bouncing for the bounce house, NBC Rentals for the tent, and to our talented face painters.
Finally, I want to recognize our Woodville Police Department—Sergeant Paul, Officer Mathisen, Officer Bartlett—and Jodi from our support staff for all of their hard work with this event.
