Experience the sights, sounds, and spirit of the American Revolution.
All events are free thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and grant-givers.
Today's featured participants are:
-- Military - The Colonel James Wood II Chapter, National Society Sons of the American Revolution, will present a Colonial Life campsite display, 11 AMβ5 PM, Circuit Court Lawn
-- Author - John Settle, will discuss his book, "The Virginia Continental Line in the Revolutionβs Southern Campaign." He teaches U.S. history at Powhatan Middle School in Powhatan, Virginia, and writes articles for the Journal of the American Revolution, 1 PM, Episcopal Sanctuary.
-- Impersonator - Quinton Castle will portray William βBillyβ Lee, George Washingtonβs personal enslaved servant, 11 AM, Bonfire Bookstore; and 1 PM, Court & Water Streets.
-- Artisan - Clyde Jenkins will showcase period basketry techniques, 11 AMβ5 PM, Circuit Court Lawn.
-- Family Activity - Anne Dellinger will organize a scavenger hunt for children of all ages, 11 AMβ5 PM, Historic Courthouse.
