False alarm if you saw the previous post that Wander Woodstock is cancelled! We have several local businesses open late for dinner and shopping tonight so join them downtown from 5-8 pm.(entertainment and artists/artisans have been cancelled)

Tomorrow during Wander Woodstock we're enacting the Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA). We heard some of the concerns and thought it would be helpful to clarify what the DORA is and is not.

The DORA is...

- The ability to purchase a drink from a locally owned restaurant and responsibly meander around Town while enjoying it
- Only enabled at specific times during specific events (this is NOT New Orleans)
- Clearly marked by signage so the boundaries are obvious. We used parking lots because they're publicly known places, easy to identify close to the entrances and exits of the DORA
- Bound by the same laws as anywhere else in Town

The DORA is NOT...

- Backed by any single business
- A bar crawl for only 21+ attendees
- An exception to public intoxication laws, including DUIs and drunk in public

WoodsTaco is bringing back your favorites AND introducing a few new faces to keep you movin’ to the music.

Bryan Bryan will be back and ready to pump up the crowd with a mix of your favorite hits!

Alma Y Folklore have been planning their traditional dance performance since last year, and they’re bringing us another beautiful region of Mexico to experience through music and dance.

And brand new this year… Kadencia is bringing bomba y plena to the stage, adding another incredible layer of culture, rhythm, and tradition to the WoodsTaco celebration!

And, of course, it wouldn’t be WoodsTaco without the fun, fiery contests that keep the party spicy.

We can't wait to embrace the sounds and flavors of WoodsTaco, on September 12 from 11am - 3pm, with you all. Bring a friend or come alone and make a friend! Either way it's a day you won't forget!

💐STEM STOPS💐 Flower Frolic in Downtown Woodstock is coming! There are so many amazing businesses in Woodstock and all are available to shop and wander.

At the welcome table, you will get a map for the flower frolic. Each stop will have a "Stem Stop" sign and a volunteer. Volunteers will check off your map so we know you stopped and be there to help you as you need!

Here are the 10 "stem stops" to collect your flower stem to build your bouquet:

We now have a DORA!
(Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area)

During select Town hosted events, attendees can now grab an alcoholic beverage from a participating downtown restaurant and stroll the DORA! There is no need to stay seated to enjoy it!

During the event, look for the signs marking where the fun and the legal boundary begins and ends.

Just be sure your drink came from inside the DORA (no outside adult bevvy's allowed), and wrap up before you leave the area.

We've been keeping a secret and we're almost ready to share. You'll have to keep your eyes peeled for tomorrow's post.

While we wait, we're just gonna drop at next Friday's Wander Woodstock we will have local favorite and new to us Carousel Confections LLC out of Broadway to help feed the streets as Justin says. Of course, you can always stop by any of our businesses that are open late.
