Today marks 25 years since the attacks of September 11th, a day that forever changed our nation.

We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost that day. We honor the courage of the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, military members, and ordinary citizens who ran toward danger to help others. We also remember the many first responders who have lost their lives in the years since from illnesses related to their service.

Also on this day, we honor the 5 firefighters from our small company who responded to the Pentagon with our beloved Truck 16. Knowing the dangers and magnitude of these events, these 5 men put others before themselves during one of America’s most darkest days. We will forever thank these individuals for their service on this day 25 years ago.

25 years have passed, but our promise remains the same.

We will never forget, and God Bless America.

Congratulations, Cadence!

We are very proud to congratulate member Cadence Offutt on successfully completing her observer packet and minimum riding requirements earning the title of Probationary Firefighter. 🧑‍🚒 Cadence also holds dual membership with Woodsboro Volunteer Fire Company

🚒This process is designed to allow trainees to respond to incidents along with a crew to gain experience and knowledge prior to becoming a released Firefighter. 🚒

All of our Probationary Firefighters will be taking Firefighter 1 class this fall through Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute - NCRO
