Heads up, drivers! Expect lane closures on Legacy Parkway starting as early as today, 5/15 through 5/21:

👉 Legacy Parkway over the Jordan River bridge in Salt Lake City will be reduced to one lane in each direction during non-peak times for bridge work.

👉 The northbound left lane on Legacy Parkway will be periodically closed between Center Street in North Salt Lake and 500 South in Woods Cross for paving.

Please plan for delays and use caution in the work zone. Visit udotinput.utah.gov/legacyparkwayimproved for details.

Great information regarding the new laws that went into effect yesterday for e-bikes, e-scooters, and e-motorcycles.

Anyone under 21 years old, riding an e-bike, e-scooter, e-motorcycle, or anything similar, must now wear a helmet. It's part of a new Utah law beginning Wednesday.

State leaders hope by making it a law, they'll make it safer and more children will be protected from potential head trauma.

Also as of Wednesday, an additional change in the law makes DUI charges possible when adults travel on e-bikes and e-motorcycles with an open container or while impaired.
