In response to Governor Cox’s announcement, a statewide state of emergency includes a ban on fireworks across Utah for the Fourth of July. Please help keep our community safe by not lighting or using fireworks and by following all official guidance.

We sincerely appreciate the comments, questions, and feedback we have received from our residents over the past several weeks. We have listened carefully, and our plan moving forward will prioritize the safety of our community while complying with the Governor's executive order.

Closure this upcoming weekend on the Legacy Highway. The southbound West Davis Corridor ramp to Legacy Parkway (Exit 1B) will be closed on Saturday, June 6, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for ramp repair work.

Drivers can detour by taking southbound I-15 to Parrish Lane, then by traveling west on Parrish Lane to access the Legacy Parkway on-ramps.

Heads up, drivers! Expect lane closures on Legacy Parkway starting as early as today, 5/15 through 5/21:

👉 Legacy Parkway over the Jordan River bridge in Salt Lake City will be reduced to one lane in each direction during non-peak times for bridge work.

👉 The northbound left lane on Legacy Parkway will be periodically closed between Center Street in North Salt Lake and 500 South in Woods Cross for paving.

Please plan for delays and use caution in the work zone. Visit udotinput.utah.gov/legacyparkwayimproved for details.
