A fast-moving upper-level disturbance will race across the region Monday afternoon and evening, bringing the potential for thunderstorms.
This won’t be an all-day event or impact everyone, but where storms develop they could pack a punch with:
⚠️ Heavy rain
⚡ Frequent lightning
💨 Strong winds
🧊 Hail
I’m especially watching the area currently shaded in green, where a Level 1 severe weather risk is in place.
Think of this system like a bowling ball rolling through the atmosphere. Small changes in its track can make a big difference in who sees the strongest storms, so we’ll be watching closely over the next 24 hours.
