🌟 Staff Spotlight! 🌟

Meet Giorgia Cavalleri, a Kindergarten Teacher at William F Murphy Elementary School!
Her favorite subject in school was Math, and today she brings that enthusiasm into her classroom with our youngest learners.

Giorgia says the best part of Woodridge 68 is the friendly and helpful staff who make it such a great place to work.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing volleyball, and scrapbooking. 📚🏐
Giorgia also first connected with the district as a student teacher.

🎨🏆 Congratulations to our talented young artists from Woodridge 68!

This weekend, students from our south side schools—Murphy, Edgewood, and Sipley—participated in the annual Darien Women’s Club Art Fair, and we’re thrilled to celebrate two Best in Show (Division Winner) honorees:
✨ Alice Fukushiro (Murphy) – 1st & 2nd Grade Division
✨ Alaska Tkachev (Sipley) – 3rd & 4th Grade Division

We are so proud of these students and all who represented our schools with their creativity and hard work. Way to go, artists! 💙🖌️

Meet Kevin Bigenwald, a Learning Resource Specialist at William F Murphy Elementary School!
His favorite subject in school was Science, and he remembers collecting leaves and insects in his early years.

Kevin says the best part of Woodridge 68 is watching students grow from kindergarten through 6th grade.

In his free time, he enjoys bowling, camping with his son, and working with Scouts. 🎳🏕️

Introducing Chris Champion, a PE Teacher at William F Murphy Elementary School!
No surprise—his favorite subject in school was Physical Education, and now he gets to teach it to Woodridge 68 students.

Chris says the best part of his job is the opportunity to teach all of our great students.

In his spare time, he enjoys family time, golfing, and playing pickleball. 🏌️‍♂️🎾
