Woodridge School District 68 developed an Academic Transformation Plan that focuses on individual student growth and preparing students to be college and career ready. This comprehensive plan was developed in line with the district’s strategic goals to ensure that all students achieve their social, emotional, and academic potential and serves as the focus for district activities. The Academic Transformation Plan is a model of continuous improvement, driving all decisions around district programs and policies. This model allows for complete alignment of the strategic goals and ongoing objectives throughout the district and schools.

💚 Last Friday, Goodrich Elementary School welcomed back members of the Class of 1970 for a special reunion and tour of the building!

Classmates traveled from near and far—including Arizona and Wisconsin—to reconnect, share memories, and revisit their former school. Back then Goodrich students were known as the Panthers (before becoming the Gators!). Several alumni even broke into the old Panthers fight song while standing in the gym. 🎶

After their visit, the group continued the celebration with dinner at Nonnie's Pizza in Woodridge. Thank you for coming back to visit and sharing your memories with us!

💙🥫 Recently, Woodridge 68 administrators spent the afternoon volunteering at West Suburban Community Pantry, helping stock shelves and sort fresh produce for local families in need.

This event was part of Woodridge 68 Cares, our annual day of community service dedicated to giving back and supporting the communities we serve. We’re proud to partner with organizations making a meaningful difference every day! 🙌

💙 A heartfelt thank you to Junior Girl Scout Troop 56200 for their thoughtful and compassionate service project!

As part of their Bronze Award, the troop raised funds, secured donations, and assembled “Blooming Bags” for every Woodridge 68 school to help support students experiencing period insecurity. Each reusable kit includes essential hygiene items and information to help raise awareness and provide support for girls beginning their menstrual journey.

We are incredibly grateful for the kindness, leadership, and care these Girl Scouts demonstrated through this meaningful project. Your efforts will make a real difference for students across our district! 🌸
