A big thank you to the Winters Rotary Club for welcoming Fourth & Hope! 💙

We had the opportunity to share more about our programs, the services we provide, and the work we do each day to support individuals and families in our community.

We also shared about our upcoming Empty Bowls event on October 14, 2026 and how the community can get involved in supporting our mission. 🥣

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to connect with community partners, spread awareness, and work together toward a stronger community.

A free movie screening of the 2024 documentary “We’re All in this Together” will be shown at Woodland Community College on Thursday, September 24th from 5- 8 p.m. in Community Room 800.

There will be a recorded Q+A with the director and main star, Daniel T***a, after the film. Doors open at 5 pm. Film starts around 5:30 pm.

“We’re All in This Together” is a feature-length documentary directed by Daniel T***a that follows a 7,000-mile cross-country bicycle journey across the United States undertaken with no food or money to test the true nature of human connection.

The film has received a 9.2 rating out of 10 on IMDb. The event is co-sponsored by Woodland Community College, Woodland Food Closet, Fourth and Hope, Empower Yolo, and WEMM.

We’re also excited to have Fourth & Hope’s Housing Director and Behavioral Health Director share a few words with attendees.

Light refreshments will be provided; parking is free; the movie will have English captions; and the community room is wheelchair accessible. We hope to see you there!

August was full of progress, growth, and hope at Fourth & Hope. 💚

This month, 14 families moved into permanent housing, 60% gained employment, and 12 clients graduated from Walter’s House. Every number represents a life moving forward and a future filled with new possibilities.

We’re grateful to our staff, supporters, donors, volunteers, and community partners who make this work possible. Together, we’re helping build stronger families, brighter futures, and lasting recovery.

And don’t forget to save the date for Empty Bowls!! Wednesday, October 14, 2026! 🥣 Join us for a simple meal with a powerful purpose as we come together to raise awareness and support for individuals and families experiencing hunger and homelessness in our community.

At Fourth & Hope, housing is more than having a place to stay….it’s an opportunity to rebuild, regain stability, and move toward a more secure future. 💙

Through our housing programs, individuals and families are provided with a safe and supportive living environment while they work toward greater independence and long-term stability.

Every person who comes through our doors has a different story, different needs, and different goals. Our mission is to provide the support, resources, and opportunities needed to help them take their next steps forward.

We were honored to welcome the city of Woodland’s Civic Fellows to Fourth and Hope!

It was a pleasure sharing our mission, providing a tour of our East Beamer Way facility, and highlighting the programs and services that support individuals experiencing homelessness in our community.

Thank you to the Civic Fellows for taking the time to learn more about our work and for your interest in making a difference in Woodland. We appreciate the opportunity to connect with future community leaders and look forward to continuing these important conversations. Looking forward to many more of these opportunities 💙
