🇺🇸 SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 — WE WILL NEVER FORGET 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years later, the memories still hurt.
As first responders, we understand what it means to hear the call and go toward the danger while others are running away. On September 11, 2001, firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and countless others did exactly that.
They climbed the stairs. They entered the smoke. They searched for strangers. They gave everything they had—and many gave their lives.
Behind every hero was a family waiting for them to come home. Those families made the sacrifice too, and their pain continues long after the headlines faded.

That day showed us the very best of humanity—the courage to sacrifice, the willingness to help a stranger, and the love people showed one another in the face of unimaginable evil.
As first responders, we carry their memory with us.

We honor their courage.
We remember their sacrifice.
We stand with their families.
And we will never forget.

🇺🇸 May we always remember those who ran toward the danger. 🚒🚑🚔

The members of the Woodland Volunteer Fire Department are asking our community to come together and support one of our own.

One of our fellow firefighters and his family recently experienced a devastating house fire and lost everything they had. While they are grateful to be safe, they are now facing the difficult task of rebuilding their lives from the ground up.

Please come out and support. It is greatly appreciated. ❤️

❤️ Please Keep Firefighter Eddie Hoggard & His Family in Your Prayers ❤️

Yesterday afternoon, Firefighter Eddie Hoggard and his wife, Amanda, lost everything in a devastating house fire. Thankfully, they are safe, but they are now facing the unimaginable task of rebuilding their lives after losing their home and belongings.

Eddie and Amanda have dedicated their lives to serving our country and serving our community. Eddie has proudly served as a firefighter with us, putting the needs and safety of others before his own. Now, it is our turn to stand beside him and his family.

🚒 Eddie’s fire family is here for him. We will do everything we can to support Eddie, Amanda, and their family during this incredibly difficult time. They have spent their lives helping others, and now they need our help.

🙏 If you are able, please consider making a monetary donation to Eddie and Amanda. At this time, monetary donations are encouraged to help them with immediate needs and the many expenses they will face as they begin putting their lives back together.

No donation is too small. Every dollar, every prayer, every kind word, and every act of support means more than you know.
Please continue to keep Eddie, Amanda, and their entire family in your thoughts and prayers. ❤️🙏

Chelsea is creating this fundraiser for Eddie Hoggard, Chelsea’s uncle, and Amanda after… Chelsea Johnson needs your support for Help Eddie and Amanda Rebuild

Last night, our members and families gathered at the fire department for a fellowship dinner, and what a wonderful evening it was. We enjoyed great food, plenty of laughter, and, most importantly, quality time together.

Volunteer fire departments are more than just emergency responders—we are a family. Taking time to fellowship, support one another, and strengthen those bonds makes us a stronger department and a stronger community.

We are thankful for every member and family who joined us. As the saying goes, families that eat together and pray together, stay together. We are blessed to serve alongside such an incredible fire department family.
