Teller County was in the FRONT ROW at the Colorado State GOP Assembly. While there were credentialing issues that delayed the assembly for many hours, our entire delegation remained upbeat and optimistic. That time was a great opportunity to meet other Republicans from around the state and also witnessed firsthand some of the challenges we face as a party moving forward. We have some great candidates that have been advanced to our primary ballot for June 30th. Results below.

The Teller County Assembly was packed today with 100 delegates credentialed this morning. Results were:

Treasurer- Krystal Brown
Clerk and Recorder- Stephanie Wise Kees
Assessor- Kurt Schoenberger
Coroner- Steve Tomsky

Pursuant to the bylaws and rules of the Teller County Republican Central Committee and the Colorado Republican Party, notice is hereby given that the 2026 Teller County Republican Assembly will be held as follows:


Date: Saturday, March 21, 2026

Location: Ute Pass Cultural Center

210 Midland Avenue

Woodland Park, Colorado

Credentialing: 7:00 a.m.

Assembly Convenes: 9:00 a.m.


Delegates and alternates elected at the March 3, 2026, Republican Precinct Caucuses are hereby called to assemble for the purpose of conducting the official business of the Teller County Republican Party in accordance with state and county bylaws rules and Colorado election law.


PURPOSE OF THE ASSEMBLY

1. Nomination of Candidates to the Republican Primary Election for the following Teller County offices:

• County Commissioner – District 2

• Sheriff

• Clerk and Recorder

• Treasurer

• Assessor

• Coroner

• Surveyor


2. Ratification of the Precinct Co-Chairs elected at the March 3, 2026, Precinct Caucuses.


3. Ratification of the delegates and alternates elected at the March 3, 2026, Precinct Caucuses to represent Teller County Republicans at higher assemblies.


4. Adoption of the Vacancy Committee for the office of Teller County Commissioner, in accordance with party rules and applicable law.


5. Consideration of resolutions introduced and approved at the March 3, 2026, Precinct Caucuses for possible adoption by the Teller County Republican Assembly.
