What a fantastic day at the pool!

The Woodland Aquatic Center hosted our summer league swim meet yesterday, featuring the Woodland Park Wahoos, The Valley Dolphins, and CCOC. We are incredibly proud of every swimmer who competed, cheered on their teammates, and gave their best effort in the water.

Thank you to all the athletes, coaches, volunteers, officials, and families who helped make the meet such a success. The sportsmanship, teamwork, and determination on display were truly inspiring.

Great job, Wahoos!! Keep up the hard work and team spirit!! Their next meet will be June 24th at the Pikes Peak Athletic Training Center.

Join us for Babysitter Bootcamp on June 25th from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM! This fun and interactive class is designed to help future babysitters develop the skills they need to safely care for children and infants.

Come Join Me! 🧘‍♀️☀️

This time, I traded in my swimsuit for a yoga mat and joined my lifeguard, Cheyenne, for our Vinyasa Yoga class!

I quickly learned that this class is perfect for everyone—from someone trying yoga for the very first time to seasoned yogis looking for a great practice. Vinyasa Yoga focuses on connecting your breath with your movement, creating a flow that's both relaxing and energizing.

One of the things that makes this class so special is that Julia, our instructor, gives each class a unique theme. Today's theme was welcoming summer, and it was such a wonderful way to slow down, stretch, and embrace the season ahead.

𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐬! The City is seeking volunteers who like getting their hands in the dirt to help plant seasonal flowers across our community. Join us June 16-June 19th as we collaborate to plant flower beds for the summer season. Volunteers will meet at the City's public works facility, located on Rampart Range Road. Please plan to bring your gardening gloves, sun protection, water, and, if you have them, basic gardening tools.
