Record-low snowpack means Colorado's mountain roads are incredibly dry this summer. One spark is all it takes to start a wildfire—whether it's from dragging chains or hot brakes.

Before you load up the car, camper, or boat, do your part. CDOT and partners have launched the Drive Safe Colorado Summer campaign to help us look out for each other. More information at http://codot.gov/travel/summerdriving

On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress approved the design of a national flag. Since 1916, when President Woodrow Wilson issued a presidential proclamation establishing a national Flag Day on June 14, Americans have commemorated the adoption of the Stars and Stripes in many ways–displaying the flag in the front of their homes, parades, and other patriotic observances.

Today, let’s take a little longer to admire this symbol of our nation and what it stands for.
