When our crews aren’t responding to calls, training, or attending community events, shift life settles into the everyday routines that keep the station running. From cleaning the trucks and station chores to sharing meals, relaxing outside, or enjoying downtime together, these quieter moments are an important part of life on shift. They give crews time to recharge, connect, and prepare for whatever the next call may bring.

During their 48-hour shifts, our crews often have the opportunity to attend community events and connect with the people they serve outside of emergency calls. Whether participating in local events, providing safety education, or simply spending time with community members, these interactions help build lasting relationships and strengthen trust. Serving our community goes beyond emergency response, and our crews are proud to be a part of it every day.
