On the heels of the 25th anniversary of September 11th, we pause to honor the first responders, service members, and everyday citizens who sacrificed so much that day.Their courage continues to shape why we do this work: building homes, communities, and futures for the Veterans and military families who answered our nation's call.

Join us for the 9th Annual Rainbow Build on September 19, 2026, at our Palmdale Veteran Enriched Neighborhood®! Registration begins at 8:30 AM, with the build kicking off at 9:00 AM, at 186 Taintor Road, Palmdale, CA 93550.

This year we're aiming to raise $75,000 to keep delivering affordable homes to Veteran families. Every dollar brings us closer to welcoming another Veteran family home.

One month to go! Join us on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 9:00 AM, as we build homes and hope for the Veterans and military families who have sacrificed so much for us. This year's Rainbow Build takes place at the Palmdale Veteran Enriched Neighborhood®, 186 Taintor Road Palmdale, CA. 93550.

THE 9TH ANNUAL RAINBOW BUILD IS COMING! 🏗️

Join Homes 4 Families on September 19th at the Palmdale Veteran Enriched Neighborhood® for a day of building homes, building community, and honoring the veterans and military families who call this neighborhood home.

This year, we're honored to partner with the Automobile Club of Southern California (AAA), Westside Autobody Palmdale, and Fix Auto Lancaster to offer our Legacy Homeowners the chance to win one of two cars. With that partnership, as part of the Rainbow Build, Legacy Homeowners can earn entries through peer-to-peer fundraising and workshop participation ahead of the event. 🚗🚗

Today is National PTSD Awareness Day, and we want to take a moment to acknowledge the many people and families living with the effects of trauma. 💚

At Homes 4 Families, we understand that housing instability is often connected to trauma. For so many of the families we serve, a safe and stable home is not just a roof overhead. It is a place to heal, to breathe, and to begin again.

PTSD affects millions of people including veterans, survivors of domestic violence, and those who have experienced homelessness. Awareness is the first step toward compassion and better support for those who need it most.

If you or someone you love is struggling, you are not alone. Resources are available, and healing is possible.
