The Social Consequences of Traumatic Brain Injury: What Attorneys Need to Know Beyond the Brain Scan. September 18, noon.

Easy registration: https://sfvba.org/?pg=barallianceevents&evAction=showDetail&eid=351983&evSubAction=viewMonth&calmonth=202609.

Most Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) cases rely on neurologists and neuropsychologists to explain what happened to the brain. This presentation addresses what happened to the person’s life — the employment losses, relationship breakdowns, housing instability, and identity disruption that constitute the lasting effects on a person’s daily life and functioning, and that are often the most compelling and least-documented damages in TBI cases. Presenter, Stephanie Chassman, Ph.D., LCSW.
