For more than 30 years, I have been honored to serve Woodhaven and participate in community events supporting causes that mean so much to me.

Whether bringing joy to children, honoring our veterans, remembering fallen police officers, or supporting the organizations that care for animals, each experience has reminded me what makes our community so special: people coming together to care for one another.

These moments have never been about recognition. They have been about showing up, lending a hand, honoring sacrifice, and helping wherever I can. Along the way, I have met incredible residents, volunteers, public servants, and community leaders whose compassion continues to inspire me.

I am grateful for every opportunity I have had to serve over the past three decades. Woodhaven is more than the place I live—it is my home, and its people are like family.

If elected mayor, my focus will be on the things that affect your everyday life:

• Strong police, fire, and emergency services—and attention to speeding in our neighborhoods.

• Well-maintained roads, dependable garbage pickup, and reliable water service. I want a simple way to report problems in the city website and track the response.

• Careful spending of your tax dollars, clear explanations of city decisions, and follow-through when you raise a concern.

As a council member, I learned that progress takes cooperation. As mayor, I’ll work with council and city staff to address problems and keep residents informed.

You deserve a city that listens and gets the basics right.

During my time on the Woodhaven City Council, I was proud to support improvements residents can see and enjoy every day:

Establishing a full-time fire department
Remodeling our community center
Updating neighborhood pocket parks
Building new pickleball courts
A memorial for residents who died from COVID

These accomplishments took teamwork—from the council members who supported them to the city employees who brought them to life. I’m grateful to have played a part.

As mayor, I’ll build on that work by supporting strong public safety, caring for our neighborhoods, and listening to residents’ concerns and ideas.

Woodhaven is my home. I would be honored to continue serving you.

Serving on the Woodhaven City Council and Planning Commission has given me a front-row seat for the decisions that affect our residents every day. I’ve learned that good local government isn’t about titles or politics.

It’s about doing the homework, asking the right questions, watching how taxpayer dollars are spent, supporting our police and fire departments, and making decisions that will keep Woodhaven strong for years to come. During my time on Council, I’ve worked with residents, city employees, department heads, businesses, and fellow elected officials. I’ve seen what works, where we can improve, and how important it is to have leaders who will listen before they act.

That experience matters. As Mayor, I won’t need to learn Woodhaven from the outside. I already know our community, our city government, and the challenges and opportunities ahead of us. I’m proud of the years I’ve spent serving Woodhaven on City Council, and I’m ready to take that experience to the mayor’s office. Experience. Accountability. Service. That’s the kind of Mayor I will be for our residents.

I’m proud to have served our country as an Army combat medic. Taking care of people is a responsibility I’ve carried with me into my work on City Council and in our community.

I’m running for mayor because I love Woodhaven and want to keep serving the people who call it home.

I want residents to get an answer when they contact City Hall. I want our police and firefighters to have the support they need. And I want us to take good care of our neighborhoods and the tax dollars you entrust to the city.

You deserve to know who you’re voting for. If we haven’t met, I’d welcome the chance to talk, and hear what matters to you.
