Police Week 2026
As we recognize National Police Week and Peace Officers Memorial Day, I want to personally thank each of our officer for your service, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the Town of Woodfin.
Choosing to serve as a police officer is more than a profession—it is a calling. Every day, you answer that call with courage, professionalism, and compassion. You willingly place yourselves in difficult situations to protect others, uphold the law, and ensure the safety and well-being of our community. Your work does not go unnoticed, and I am deeply grateful for the sacrifices you and your families make in service to others.
The strength of our department is built not only on skill and training, but on character. Your allegiance to our code of ethics and core values reflects the very best of law enforcement. Professionalism, accountability, integrity, excellence , and service are not simply words—they are principles you demonstrate through your actions every day. Because of your dedication, our community is safer, stronger, and better connected.
During Police Officers Memorial Week, we also pause to remember and honor the brave officers across our nation who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their legacy reminds us of the importance of this profession and the responsibility we carry as public servants. We honor their memory by continuing to serve with integrity, professionalism, and compassion.
Thank you for your continued commitment to excellence and for the pride you bring to this department and community. I am honored to serve alongside each of you and proud of the work you do every day.
Stay safe, take care of one another, and know that your service is appreciated beyond measure.
I hope our community will join me in offering their thanks.
In Service-
Chief Jacqui Boykin
